All the pictures in our database are taken
by a CONTAX G2 camera
on Kodak Ektar 25 ASA high definition films
and scanned by a Polaroid Sprint Scan 4000.

The original pictures on our H.D. are in
3000x2000 pixel X 36 bit color depth.

The pictures are calibrated for a flexible
future color correction. In their histograms
whites and blacks are not cut out.

All images are compressed in Photoshop 5.5
at "Maximum" JPG quality.

This kind of textures are ideal for realistic
3D renderings. To create similar results with
procedural shaders you can spend several hours.
